Policies & Additional Info.

Please read prior to booking an appointment.

You cannot have microblading or any permanent makeup if any of the following apply to you…

  • Currently pregnant or nursing. You must be at least 3 months postpartum and have finished breast feeding at least 3 months prior to having a permanent makeup service done.

  • Present cancer or currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation. Must be off of chemotherapy or radiation for at least 7 months prior to procedure.

  • Under legal age of 18. California does not allow minors to be tattooed even with parental consent.

  • Currently or have used Accutane within 9 months prior to your procedure.

  • Active skin disorders including but not limited to:

    • Psoriasis or Eczema in or around treatment area

    • Severe acne or active breakouts on treatment area

    • Severe Rosacea

    • Active Vitiligo

    • Cold Sores

      • Interested in lip blush? If you’ve ever had a cold sore (even if not active or it’s been a long time) you must get a prescription from your doctor prior to your procedure. For example, many doctors prescribe a 5 day course of Valtrex to take 2 days prior, on the day of, and 2 days after the procedure. The “stress” from tattooing the lips will trigger a cold sore to form, which can negatively affect your healed results.

    • Shingles

    • Conjunctivitis or pink eye

    • Sunburn

  • Prone to keloids

  • Raised mole in treatment area. I can work around a mole, but not over or through it.

  • Required to take blood thinning medication. *You are not a candidate for the microblading technique, but may be a candidate for an alternative technique. Please email me to discuss options.*

  • AIDS (consult physician)

  • Diabetes type 1 (consult physician)

  • Lupus (consult physician)

If you’ve previously had microblading or permanent makeup done by another artist…

It is required that you first email and send me a photo of the previously tattooed area before booking your appointment with me. If requesting microblading only, it is recommended that your previous tattoo be faded 70-80% for optimal and the most natural results. Once I receive your photo, I’ll be in touch so that we can discuss your options and I will advise you on how to book your appointment. It is imperative that we communicate prior to the appointment to ensure that your expectations can be met. If you schedule an appointment without sending me a photo first, your appointment may be cancelled and you will forfeit your deposit.

Please email me at elicia.pmu@gmail.com and include the following in the email:

  • Requested service.

  • About how long it’s been since you’ve last had the area tattooed.

  • Photo of tattooed area. For example - photo of previously tattooed eyebrows if requesting an eyebrow touch up or service.

Please allow time for parking especially during the lunch rush hours and on the weekends when it is generally busier.

  • Unfortunately friends, family, children, or pets are unable to accompany you to your appointment. *Service animals are always welcome*

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged a cancellation fee of up to $100 per service. You may reschedule your appointment one time with 48 hours prior notice to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. All clients who “no show” or cancel the day of their appointment, will be charged 100% of the service cost.

Late Policy

  • Please let me know if you are running late on the day of your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I may have to reschedule your appointment and you will be subject to the cancellation fee of up to $100 per service as stated and agreed to at the time of booking. In this case you will have to pay the cancellation fee before scheduling a new appointment. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking.

Deposits

  • Deposits are required in some circumstances. Deposits are $100 and are put towards the cost of the service when making your final payment the day of your appointment. They are nonrefundable and must be paid for at the time of booking if the client does not what to hold a credit card on file. You may reschedule your appointment one time with 48 hours prior notice before forfeiting your previously paid deposit altogether.

Results

  • Results are not guaranteed for anyone. Healed results and the overall longevity of your permanent makeup depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: age, skin type, aftercare, skincare products, general lifestyle, medications, sun exposure, amount of routine exercise, pigments used, and technique used to tattoo the skin.

  • Some clients will require additional sessions to achieve their desired results. Additional sessions will be priced accordingly as a 12-36 month “touch up.”

Final Payment

  • Final payment will be taken the day of your appointment. Cash is encouraged, but I also accept all major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.

Procedure Refusal

  • I reserve the right to refuse any client that I do not deem fit for the requested service for any reason including if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. I will only agree to work that I confidently feel will improve or enhance your existing look, or meet or exceed your expectations.
